ToolRook is a small, independently operated utility website for writers, developers, and anyone working with text and images. It focuses on specific jobs: check a word count, clean pasted text, format JSON, encode a URL, or make an image smaller.
One clear job at a time
Each tool comes with instructions and limits on the same page. Tools do not execute your input as code or rewrite its meaning for you. Formatting, deduplication and conversion can change how data is represented, so keep the original and review the result.
Where your input goes
The six current tools run in your browser without sending text or images to a processing API. There is no account or server-side file storage. Loading a web page still involves ordinary network requests; our privacy page explains the difference.
What this version supports
Image tools handle individual still JPEG, PNG and WebP files. Text and developer tools are intended for everyday-sized inputs. All tools are free. We may introduce advertising later and will update our privacy information when we do.
Use the result thoughtfully
Counts can differ from other editors, and compression results depend on the image and browser. Check an output before publishing or submitting it. This version does not offer a public support email or contact form.
